BAYLEE LESS, DIRECTOR
COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT DIRECTOR, TI
Baylee is Temple Israel's new Community Engagement Director, where she oversees Temple's new Crosstown space as well as ConnecTI. In her free time, she serves as an adviser for the local BBYO chapter, and contributes to I Love Memphis, Atwood Magazine, and EARMILK. She enjoys Asian food, concerts, and being outdoors - most likely at Shelby Farms.
Public Relations, dCA
A proud Memphian, Cara is in the business of connecting. While she serves as the engagement associate of ConnecTI, Cara works full-time in public relations and social media at DCA, a Downtown creative communications firm. Her blog Caramelized is named Memphis' Best Blog by Commercial Appeal readers. One wouldn't be surprised to find her cooking in her (or someone else's) kitchen or strolling on South Main.
Joe, a native New Yorker, moved down in 2016 to work for the Grizzlies Social Responsibility department after graduating from New York University. When he’s not at work you can catch him cheering on the Grizzlies, mentoring local Memphis youth or searching for the best bagel in the city.
EAST HIGH SCHOOL
Originally from San Francisco, Madeline moved to Memphis in 2015 to complete a two-year teaching career at Raleigh Egypt High School through Teach for America. Now a Spanish teacher and soccer coach at East High School, Madeline loves to be outdoors, either as a mentor on the sidelines or a player on the field (usually in competitive ultimate frisbee!).
A native Mississippian, Daniel hails from Starkville, where he graduated from MSU. He was attracted to Memphis by an engineering role with FedEx Air Operations. After moving to Memphis, Daniel promptly became passionately plugged in to several Jewish communal activities including coaching soccer at the J, substitute teaching Sunday School, serving on the Memphis Hillel Advisory Board, and performing as pianist for Unplugged Shabbat. In his free time, Daniel enjoys cycling, brunching at Brother Junipers, and supporting the Bulldogs and the Dallas Cowboys.
